The Lakeside Clarinet Quartet was formed in 2017 and is made up of postgraduate students at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

 

The members are Hiu Lam Lo, Charlotte Bartley, Clare McEvoy and Julia Raga Pascual. They come from all corners of the globe stretching from Hong Kong to Spain and all the way from Surrey to Kent. Hiu Lam Lo studied at het Utrechts Conservatorium with Harrie Troquet; Charlotte studied in London with Andrew Marriner; Clare studied with Jane Booth whilst reading music at Jesus College, Oxford; Julia studied in Conservatorio Superior de Musica “Oscar Espla” de Alicante with Jose Franch Ballester. Currently they are all studying with Andrew Marriner, Joy Farrall, James Burke, Andrew Webster, Robert Ault, and Jennifer McLaren.

The quartet are available for concerts, live and function events. They are also currently developing a range of workshops for schools and after school clubs.
